Bygone...

In the winter we kept indoors, the outside held us inside.
We kept each other warm,
The coldness out there was so threatening that I hardly saw even a single fly roaming about my window pane,
And...well, something sweet was cooking.

Spring; Spring came. We finally decided.
We held our hands so tightly, like the ice cube molecules,
We blossomed, we were rich and promising,
Love was the kindle that we kept igniting in our love,
We did the acceptance.

Then there came Summer.
Summer was the hottest for us,
This boy and girl were both on fire, We were an item now,
We were closer than sister and brother, just as Jack and Rose were as they sailed over the sea, with the Titanic being their love-holder,
I should say it was more of Romeo and Juliet, as we made endless vows to die for each other's love,
This season... it was the best,

Not so soon, autumn showed up with the falling off of tree-leaves.
We soon lost everything; even the tender touches that we enjoyed before, now felt rather itchy,
The once-sweet voices are now echoes in an empty cave,
The smiles that drew from ear to ear, now are in a forced, short-cut mode,
They soon fade into frowns, just as the day soon fades into night,
My tears fall endlessly, like the waters that relentlessly flow down the Murchison,
I remember that the stars were our witnesses, in the dark where we once lay as we sung "Twinkle little star" together with the stars, as the crickets joined us too,
Now we only echo the wishing songs. Our love was bright, it was shiny, even through the dark times of our old days,
I always want this love to reach you again...But...
But now feels as far away as the stars that we once lay under, watched and even made promises under their witness.
